Investing.com – Bitcoin was trading at $62,823.3 on the Investing.com Index as of 12:07 p.m. (17:07 GMT) on Wednesday, up 10.19% on the day. It was the largest daily percentage increase since October 23, 2023.
The bullish move pushed Bitcoin’s market cap to $1,227.8 billion, or 53.39% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. Bitcoin’s highest market cap was $1,275.5 billion.
Bitcoin traded in a range of $56,704.9 to $62,823.3 in the last 24 hours.
Over the last seven days, Bitcoin recorded a 21.71% increase in value. Bitcoin volume traded in the 24 hours to press time was $56.0 billion, or 44.62% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. In the last 7 days, the price has traded in a range of $50,537.6016 to $62,823.2695.
At the current price, Bitcoin is still 8.94% below its all-time high of $68,990.63 set on November 10, 2021.
