Investing.com – Bitcoin was trading at $56,662.4 on the Investing.com Index as of 9:08 p.m. (02:08 GMT) on Tuesday, up 10.08% on the day. It was the largest daily percentage increase since October 23, 2023.
The bullish move pushed Bitcoin’s market cap to $1,093.4 billion, or 51.64% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. Bitcoin’s highest market cap was $1,275.5 billion.
Bitcoin traded in a range of $54,464.0 to $56,844.8 in the last 24 hours.
Over the last seven days, Bitcoin recorded a 7.78% increase in value. Bitcoin volume traded in the 24 hours to press time was $36.7 billion, or 40.96% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. In the last 7 days, the price has traded in a range of $50,537.6016 to $56,844.7734.
At the current price, Bitcoin is still 17.87% below its all-time high of $68,990.63 set on November 10, 2021.

Ethereum’s market cap most recently stood at $387.1 billion, or 18.28% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while Tether USDt’s market cap totaled $98.1 billion, or 4.63% of the total cryptocurrency market cap .
