© Reuters Crypto stocks post mixed performance as Bitcoin (BTC) rises to $67.7K
Bitcoin (BTC) rose to $67,700 on Thursday, marking a total gain of around 7.3% for the week.
On Tuesday, the flagship cryptocurrency hit a new all-time high of $69,210, surpassing its previous peak during the bull market in late 2021.
Bitcoin’s recent rally resulted in mixed performance for crypto stocks.
Notably, shares of MicroStrategy (MSTR) were up 4.1% on Thursday and up more than 20% since Monday. Earlier this week, Michael Saylor’s business intelligence company announced plans to raise $600 million by selling convertible notes in a private offering.
The company said it would use the funds raised to acquire more BTC.
In the meantime, CleanSpark (NASDAQ:) rose 7.8% on the day, while Coinbase (NASDAQ:) gained 1.2%.
Other major crypto miners including Marathon Digital (NASDAQ:) and Riot Platforms (NASDAQ:) fell 3% and 1.2%, respectively.
