Web3's largest lifestyle app teams up with adidas to bring co-branded digital sneakers to 5 million users
Move and Earn lifestyle app STEPN today announces the launch of STEPN x adidas Genesis Sneakers – a limited-edition NFT collection developed in collaboration with adidas.
The Solana-powered generative NFT collection includes 1,000 unique items inspired by the brand's most iconic running silhouettes.
The STEPN x adidas Genesis sneaker collection releases on Wednesday, April 17th on STEPN's sister NFT marketplace MOOAR.
This Genesis collection is the first in a series of co-branding activities between STEPN and adidas as part of a year-long partnership, with more NFT drops and physical, wearable items on the roadmap. It also underlines STEPN's commitment to growing the emerging move-to-earn sector into one that aims to improve lives while making future technologies accessible across generations.
The STEPN team attributes its remarkable success, with 5 million registered users, to its community-focused approach, which reflects its position as one of the most widely used lifestyle rewards apps worldwide. This announcement follows a highly successful airdrop on Wednesday, April 10, which rewarded the STEPN community with approximately $30 million worth of tokens.
This is also the latest in a series of high-profile partnerships for STEPN that have paved the way for “FitTech,” including collaborations on digital wearables with DJ and music producer Steve Aoki, Japanese animated series Ghost in the Shell (LON:), and Football Club Atlético de Madrid.

The STEPN x adidas Genesis Sneakers collection will be sold through the MOOAR marketplace and offered in STEPN's native GMT token, priced at 10,000 GMT each. The collection will be distributed via a two-stage raffle (with full refunds for those who do not win).
The first phase starts on April 17th, in which 200 NFTs were reserved for the most loyal users. This eligibility list includes holders of “ALTS by adidas” NFTs and eligible members of the broader FSL community, including users of STEPN, marketplace MOOAR, and blockchain game Gas Hero.
The second phase will be a public raffle where the remaining supply of 790 NFTs will become available. This phase runs from April 18th to 21st. Winners will be drawn every 24 hours and can claim their prizes on the MOOAR marketplace. To ensure fair distribution of the collection, the limits are set to one NFT per wallet.
